	11/17/02- Retrofuturism at MOCA/ The Geffen Contemporary The designer of the prototype for the new Beetle, the new GT40, and the new Ford Thunderbird, among other cars, J Mays is renowned for blending the iconic past with a vision for the future. Retrofuturism: The Car Design of J Mays brings together concept cars, development models, video footage, new photography, and original drawings to reveal the fascinating process behind May's work. Highlight: J Mays unveiled the Ford MA, a concept car inspired by the notion of kit cars. Exhibit until March 2003. Photography: Lionel Deluy

	11/14/02-Audrey Hepburn's Heart for Children at The Roosevelt Hotel The Audrey Hepburn Children’s Fund and Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, with founding sponsor Longines Watch Company celebrate "A Heart for Children," a charity event benefiting the Audrey Hepburn CARES Team at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. In honor of the event, the block of Hollywood Boulevard spanning the front of the Roosevelt Hotel was closed and transformed into a 160" x 60" ft chalk art portrait of Audrey Hepburn. Entertainment for the evening featured Omara Portuondo presented by the Buena Vista Social Club.
